This item is a great idea, and has three different sized brushes to clean all of those hard to reach areas. The only problem I experienced was that the bristles started falling out of the smallest brush during the first use! I am hoping the others will hold up better and that I don't have to replace this set very soon.

Bought this brush set after reading all of the reviews. Very good set in my opinion. I have gone through many brushes over the course of several years; these are good. They clean up well in the dishwasher and look like they'll last for a long time.

These brushes fit every nook and cranny on the fountain. I didn't realize how insufficiently I was cleaning the fountain until I got these brushes. Definitely worth the money!

Although this is designed to clean the Drinkwell Pet Fountain, this kit was "suggested" to go with the Petmate Freshflow Fountain. The Freshflow fountain has one hole that the long skinny bush can be used for but it still isn't necessary. And the large brush is exactly the same as used for cleaning baby bottles, just more expensive. This may very well be a great add-on to the Drinkwell Pet Fountain, But if you're buying the Freshflow... You don't need this!
