I figured, big whoop, all the reviews can't be wrong, will this thing live up to the hype? Well I tell you what, it did. I have a 115lb Yellow Lab and this time of year it's like a fur-icane in my house. Anyone out there interested in a slightly used yellow wool sweater? You will be left with gobs of fur, like a shopping bag full, do this outside cause it will be everywhere!
Seriously tho, this thing is the real deal, you won't be disappointed. I decided to get the medium size for the dog and some cats ;) The size is large enough for my dog, no worries.

This is an amazing tool for grooming our dog, and cats too! We just adjust the pressure on the different pets - labrador retriever, short hair cat and long hair cat. The pets seem to really like it and they look great afterward. The amount of loose fur that comes off was a surprise to me even after reading so many reviews.

I've tried a lot of different combs and brushes on my various dogs over the years, so I was skeptical that all the hype could be true. But I first used the Furminator on my double coated Akita mix and removed half a dog! She loved it as well, and afterwards I think she felt more comfortable as she kept coming back to get Furminated again when I was trying to use it on my other dogs. I found it worked best on the dogs that have a downy undercoat, like my Akita mix and my Pug Chihuahua mix. It worked well on my Lab mix too, but the difference was less significant. There is SO much less hair around the house now, and the dogs look better without the tufts of hair hanging off their hindquarters. I have a drawer full of dog brushes and combs that I can now donate to the Humane Society thrift store as I won't need them anymore.

this item works great, if you dont watch what your doing you can pull all the hair off your pet. easily carried away with great results.
