My dogs have loved them for years! July 16, 2010 MLC Really great for training, but also great for giving them treats that you don't want to fill them up. They've been eating them for 2-3 years and still love them.
good training treats July 8, 2010 Nathan A. Sweet (Seattle, WA United States) Great treats! I tear each one into 10 small pieces for training my 4.5lb 8 week Puggle. The only problem with these treats is that they dry up quickly. Within an hour or so the outside is dry, hard to rip with my fingers, and I imagine not easy for a little puppy.
Who Says Dog Treats Are Just For Dogs? July 5, 2010 Tin Man (New York City) Once again, Zuke's has made a snack that'll give you an attack. I have always been a fan of dog food for as long as I can remember. It is cheap, delicious, and for the most part very easy on the bowels. Zuke's Chicken-Flavored Mini Naturals remind us all that dog treats are yummy for people, too.
Zukes is taking us back. Back to the basics. 16 ounces of pure chicken delight, crisp and crunchy. And if you happen to have a dog, this is a treat you can share with your pet. It does not actually taste like chicken, more of a seitan meatloaf, but it tastes better than most chickens I have eaten. (I grew up on a farm in Virginia, so that's a big deal!)
Treat yourself to Zuke's chicken-flavored treats. And maybe you can give one to your dog, too!
Great size, but not my dog's favorite June 20, 2010 Susan (Boston, MA) I bought these treats for the size. We go through a lot of treats on walks with our dog, who has some leash issues. I get frustrated with crumbs in my pockets and breaking up treats during walks. He is a picky fellow when it comes to treats. These are, in fact, a great size, but they dry out quickly as others have commented. I can live with that, but I think they may also lose flavor. My dog has become less and less interested in them, and it's to the point now where he seems to eat them as a favor to me. For the price, I can find more appealing treats elsewhere and live with permanent crumbs in my pocket.
Great training treats! June 12, 2010 vinb (chicago, IL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My dog loves these! I've only tried the salmon and peanut butter, I held off on the chicken due to other reviews saying it smells bad. I prefer the peanut butter by far, the salmon is a bit stinky. I noticed that my hands as well as my dog smelled fishy after giving him treats and petting for a job well done. Treat size is perfect although they do tend to dry out if you don't keep them in a well sealed container.
