I have been using Cosequin DS at our vet's suggestion since Tallulah was a puppy. We switched to the chewable version when it came out, and love the ease of use, and not having powder residue in the food bowl. Is it helping? I wouldn't know, we are using it in the hope that she will never develop a problem.

This is for my second older dog that needs some relief from joint pain. It has worked for both of them and I have recommended it to family members who also found it to work for their dog. It is a bonus that 2 of the 3 dogs will readily eat it.

My dog has hip dysplasia and has been on this for about 4 years. At the age of two, he started yelping when he ran around corners and this was recommended to me by an Orthopaedic Vet in an effort to avoid surgery. Within 2 weeks he stopped yelping and now only shows signs of pain if I forget to give him his pill for a few days. This is an amazing product and hopefully he will never need surgery.

This product was suggested by my vet for my labs-one has hip dysplasia (but shows no pain or restrictions at this time as she is still young) and the other was having joint issues (stiffness getting up and around) though he was just under a year old. Within the first 6 weeks I saw marked improvement in the pup with stiff joints - I am very pleased with what this product does for him. I continue to give it to my pup with the dysplasia to prevent problems for her...Definitely recommend this product.

I never write reviews but this helped our dog so much I wanted other people to know. Our 10 year old Sheltie/Beagle mix had become lethargic and only wanted to lay around, he acted like it hurt him to walk. He had a malignant tumor removed just over a year ago and we were afraid the cancer was back. We received the Cosequin DS 9 days ago and within just 2 to 3 days we noticed a marked improvement. Now he's back to almost 100% of his old self. We don't have any problem giving him the tablet, it's like a treat for him. It isn't cheap but it's worth every penny to have our dog back.
